Just a quick follow up on a post of mine from late May headed “The Fastest Start-up in History?”.
Alas, as feared, the power of slightly later-starting entrant Threadless killed the business before any sales occured. See Ben’s announcement and discussion thereof.
I guess it stands as a lesson in the power of economies of scale, scope and existing networks.
But, equally, no harm/loss seems to have been incurred.
